PROBLEM STATEMENT
Social media enables echo chambers.
STRATEGY DEFINITION
An algorithm that helps the user to contrast information.

Social media and online social interaction have become an influential actor in the landscape of information sharing. With increased emphasis on speed, frequency, and engagement, the use of emotionally charged false information as a tool to drive engagement between brands competing for user attention has created a need for transparency in order to earn trust by information seekers.

A team comprising multiple Design and advertising agencies (including SeñorLópez, Sancho BBDO, and JWT) was selected by the Presidency of Colombia to work on this project.

The team defined Mega-diversity as the key concept that defines Colombia, impacting biodiversity, economy, social and cultural factors. The challenge was to find a visual identity that could represent accurately a mega-diverse county while addressing multiple local and global target audiences.

WORK EXECUTION
Social media that facilitate informed discussions.

Flipside is a Social Media platform that facilitates the engagement of multiple perspectives of a determined topic through high-quality content while encouraging users to develop and share well-informed arguments in order to co-create knowledge.
